Most deals on iSellit go smoothly — and these habits keep it that way.

Always pay through iSellit

Payments made inside iSellit are covered by our escrow & buyer protection. Anyone asking you to pay by bank transfer, card link, or another app is asking you to give up that protection. Decline, and report the conversation.

Keep chat on the platform

Moving a conversation to WhatsApp or phone calls removes the message record we rely on to resolve disputes fairly. If a deal goes wrong off-platform, we may not be able to help.

Check before you confirm

• Read the full listing — condition, defects, and delivery terms.
• Look at all photos and ask for more if anything is unclear.
• For used items, confirm what's included and what isn't.
• Inspect promptly on delivery and confirm receipt only when satisfied.

Meet-ups

• Meet in a public, busy place during daylight where possible.
• Bring someone along for high-value items.
• Inspect the item before confirming receipt in the app.

Spot the red flags

• Prices far below market with pressure to “pay now”.
• Requests for upfront fees outside the order flow.
• Refusal to answer basic questions about the item.
• Links to “verify” your account or payment elsewhere.
